Posted on 30 January 2014 | 255 views | 0 comments
Playing one instrument requires talent, but this Stomper proves he is multi-talented by playing eight in this Chinese New Year medley, just in time for the festivities.
Nelson Tan, a 24-year-old Singaporean student studying at NTU's art, design and media school, pieced together an amazing combination of music, entertainment and tradition.
In his 2-minute Youtube video, he plays the most popular Chinese New Year songs with the harmonica, piano keyboard, bass machine, drum set, violin, Chinese instruments dizi and erhu, and even an adorable-looking Otamatone.
Stomper Nelson wrote:
"I am inspired to create this medley as I listened to many CNY songs.
"I really hope to create one video with the familiar tunes!"
For those that are annoyed with the recent onslaught of CNY songs, watch the video below for one medley you definitely wouldn't dislike.
